Major fires in the western U.S. will play a part in colorful sunrises and sunsets in eastern Iowa this week. According to the National Weather Service out of the Quad Cities, the smoke from the fires will create colorful sunrises and sunsets for the next several days. Dry conditions are expected the rest of the week.

Temperatures will drop as the week continues with highs going from the 80s earlier this week down to the 60s on Friday. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
