The Washington County Conservation Department has cancelled their first Run Wild 5k race. It was scheduled to be held on Saturday. The department cancelled the event due to a low number of registrations. Nature Center Coordinator Randi Brase says while the event couldn’t happen this fall, they will try again in the spring. Refunds for those who signed up for the event will be fulfilled. The conservation department has other events scheduled to get families out to Marr Park soon. Three movie nights are planned for October, November, and December, and a conservation-themed Halloween hike will be held next month.
