Description: On Friday, March 12th from 3:30-5:30pm, the Kalona Rec Center will be hosting an open house event for kids and teens. Stop in for games, a movie, free snacks and drinks, Walleyball, and more. The Kalona Youth Services Librarian will also be providing crafts at the Rec Center from 3:30-4:30PM. Title: Soup Supper
Location: Heritage Center in Wapello
Description: The Louisa County Historical Society will hold its annual Soup Supper at 5:30 p.m. (Today/tomorrow) Saturday, March 13, at the Heritage Center in Wapello. Cost for the meal is $6. John Carpenter of Columbus Junction will present the program “About the Irish,” sharing some Irish humor as well as some history about the people of Ireland.

Description: Iowa Mennonite School’s Alumni Association, along with the Washington Township Optimists, will serve the annual Turkey Steak Supper at IMS, on Saturday, March 13; serving will be from 4:30-7:00 p.m. Tickets are available from members of the two organizations, as well as from members of the IMS freshman class.
