The season came to an end Wednesday for the Washington girls golf team, as the Demons went out with a third place finish in their Regional meet at Williamsburg.

Washington finished with a team score of 392. Senior Adalyn Long wrapped up her golf career with an 89, finishing in a tie for ninth. Lucy Sands finished 14th at 96. Ashlynn Long shot a 102, Sydney Stouder and Elizabeth Hora a 105, and Cecelia Mitchell a 109.

Williamsburg won the meet with a score of 331, with Benton also moving forward with a second place finish at 342. Fort Madison’s Kylie Lumino also qualified as an individual.
