The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk and Columbus Wildcat boys golf teams traveled to Wahkonsa Tuesday for the Durant Wildcat 18-hole Invitational.

Mid-Prairie had the highest area team finish placing fourth of 10 with a 349. Tipton won the title with a 323 total. Bryce Henry was best for the Hawks with an 85 on 18, finishing 11th. McGavin Smith from West Branch was the individual winner with a 74. Other Golden Hawk scores were Grayson Gingerich 86, Tristan Koller and Clayton Davidson 89s, Hudson Ehrenfelt 90 and Andrew Rath 94. Mid-Prairie was 15-5 for the season after the event.

Columbus was 10th with a 452 score. Top card for the ‘Cats was Kason Dopler 99, followed by Kai Allec 104, Aiden Dohrmann 110, Erik Goselin 139 and Jensen Wellington 145. Columbus is 2-19.
