The Hillcrest Academy Ravens continued their rigorous road schedule Tuesday, traveling to Burlington Notre Dame for a Southeast Iowa Superconference contest with the Nikes. The match, the seventh straight away from home for the Ravens went Notre Dame’s way 7-0.
The home team led 2-0 at the break, but pulled away for the win with five goals in the second 40 minutes. The Nikes won shots on goal 15-0 and corners 4-2. Jordan Edgington was man of the match for the Nikes with four goals and a pair of assists. Tatum Warner also scored twice. Garrett Bontrager and Beckett Miller each had four stops for Hillcrest in goal, splitting the 80 minutes.
The win pushes the Nikes to 5-2, while the Ravens sink to 1-6. Hillcrest hosts WACO for their home opener Friday.
