Columbus and WACO got together for a golf dual on Monday at Cedar Crest Country Club in Columbus Junction, with WACO taking the boys’ contest 186-200.

WACO sophomore Ian Maize posted the top score for the day at a five-over 40. Other top scoring Warriors included Malachi Rinner at 46, Carsten Wilson at 47, and Kellen Shelman 53. The top-scoring Wildcat was senior Kason Dopler, who finished second overall at 42. Contributing Wildcats included Aiden Dohrmann at 51, Kai Allec at 53, and Erick Goselin at 54.

Two golfers posted scores on the girls’ side. Columbus’ Jocelyn Hernandez posted a 51, while WACO’s Reece Roth scored a 59.
