
It was a productive Saturday for the Sigourney-Keota bowling teams when they welcomed Pella Christian to Keokuk County Bowl and the Cobras walked away with a pair of wins.
The S-K boys came out victorious with a final count of 2,572 pins to 2,215. The Cobras claimed the top three spots including Landyn Greiner with a 391 two-game series to place first, Ty Krueger second with 385, and Brock Alderson third with 373. Other scores included Gable Goff 288, Seth Donald 286, and Corren Freel 230. The home Cobras had the edge in baker games with a score of 849 to 784.
The girls made it a clean sweep with a score of 1,956 to beat out the Eagles’ 1,794. Hannah Alderson had the top score of a 290 series and Jayden Montgomery was right behind with 282. Samantha Bombei recorded a 248, Sofya Lobzova 245, Addison Richardson 230, and Lily Vanvoltenburg 193. Sigourney-Keota had the upper hand in the baker games with a tally of 661 to 585.
S-K will next be on the lanes Saturday hosting Oskaloosa.
