Kalona’s first farmer’s market of the year will be taking place this Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon in downtown Kalona. This weekend’s market is themed for Mother’s Day.

Live music and crafts for children will be available during the event.

The Kalona Chamber is still looking for vendors for the market. Those with questions or wishing to participate as vendors should contact the chamber.

The Kalona Farmer’s Market runs the second and fourth Saturdays of the month from May 10 through October 11.
