The No. 11 in Class 3A Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk volleyball team went 4-1 at New London Saturday, bringing home the team tournament title. The Hawks dropped a match to No. 11 in Class 2A West Burlington in pool play 23-21 and 21-15 before rebounding by reeling off three straight wins over Highland 21-7 and 21-12, Van Buren 21-19 and 21-10 and the home Tigers 21-16 and 21-20 before a rematch with the Falcons in the finals. With the medals on the line, the Golden Hawks got revenge on West Burlington in three sets 21-16, 14-21 and 15-11. In the tournament, Mid-Prairie was led by Dakota Mitchell with 94 digs, Landry Pacha with 44 assists and 31 kills and Ella Groenewold with 12 blocks. With the 4-1 day and team title, the Golden Hawks have a 15-6 overall record.
