It’s been a long time coming but the Mid-Prairie drama department will present their latest show this weekend when they bring “Three Fairy Godmothers” to the stage. Assistant Director Christine Meader tells KCII News about the show “Mysteriously, Princess Dulcie, is cursed with falling into mean spells where she is cruel and plays practical jokes on everyone around her. Eventually she drives everyone but her father the King out of the castle. The complication is when she turns 19 she has to be married. The only eligible bachelor who would even consider her is Org, the son of the evil witch Black Barabela.”

The three fairy godmothers, Hepsabah, Hoplandria and Hortense are played by Em Marner, Terra Richardson and Elizabeth Meader. Black Barabela is portrayed by Kyra Helmuth, Cooper Thomas will be Org, Prince Royal is Gavin Frascht, the King is Kelby Gingerich and Princess Dulcie is Liv Caskey. This show was originally supposed to be the department’s spring performance, but due to COVID-19, they prepared it for fall.
