The Halloween holiday is quickly approaching and the Wellman Scofield Public Library is bringing back their annual tradition to help area ghouls and goblins get prepared. This will be the third year the library is hosting the Halloween Costume Checkout. Wellman Scofield Public Library Director Carol Wilkins explains how the program works. “People can call me to set up an appointment to look through the costumes we have. Better to borrow than buy for such a short time.”

Costumes are available in many different sizes for many different age ranges with the added benefit of not having to spend money to purchase a costume that may only be worn once. To set up your appointment to look at what is available, call the Wellman Scofield Public Library at 319-646-6858.
