An Ottumwa man was arrested after being found with 33 pounds of methamphetamine in his vehicle on Saturday. The Fairfield Police Department conducted a felony traffic-stop on a vehicle operated by Clinton Wynn of Ottumwa. After a Fairfield Police K-9 indicated the scent of a controlled substance within the vehicle, a search was conducted. Officers found a loaded Glock firearm, and 33 pounds of methamphetamine, approximately $750,000 street value. Wynn currently faces charges of possession with intent to deliver, weapons and tax-stamp felonies, and is being held on a $500,000 bond. Wynn could face up to 50 years of incarceration in a state penitentiary if he is convicted on the methamphetamine charge alone. The investigation is ongoing by the Fairfield Police Department.
