The WACO Community School District has lifted its restrictions on attendance at indoor athletic events. All WACO fans will be able to attend in-person volleyball games without needing a ticket from a student, staff member, or coach. The district will have home fans sit on the north side of the gym, opposing fans seated on the south side of the gym, and the students will use the gym stage as the student section. 

The school district recommends the continued use of face coverings at indoor games and asks that family groups sit six feet away from other family groups. If an individual is showing symptoms of COVID-19, they are asked to not attend any athletic events. According to the district’s data, zero students or staff have tested positive for COVID-19 and eight students and no staff members are in quarantine due to coming in contact with a positive COVID-19 case.
