The large group state speech contest is quickly approaching, and the speech students at Mid-Prairie are ready to perform once again. Of the 10 events they brought to the district contest, eight of those events will perform at the state contest. Those events include improv, ensemble acting, musical theatre, readers theatre, and one act play. The speech team will travel to Cedar Rapids Washington High School this Saturday to compete for an appearance at All State on February 22nd.
