A Wayland man has been arrested for sexual abuse. According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, 60-year-old Terry Hesser of Wayland was arrested Thursday. On August 27th, an investigation began for an alleged sexual abuse case. As a result of that investigation, Hesser has been charged with four counts of sexual abuse in the third degree, a class C felony; two counts of lascivious acts with a child, a class C felony; and incest, a class D felony. Hesser was taken to the Henry County Jail.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and the Wooster Ohio Police Department.
