Drought conditions in Iowa lessened from last week. According to the National Weather Service, 9.7% of Iowa is in moderate drought, down about two points. At this time 44.7% of Iowa is abnormally dry. Most of Washington, Keokuk, Louisa, and Henry Counties are experiencing moderate drought. There’s a chance of scattered showers in eastern Iowa Saturday night into Sunday, with thunderstorms possible. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
