ims-4

The Iowa Mennonite School softball team matched their win total from 2018 in the 2019 season, going 3-20. During the course of the year IMS got a doubleheader sweep over Mediapolis and another conference win beating Columbus on Senior Night. Despite the record not being where they wanted it to be, IMS was rewarded with five all-conference selections from the Superconference, led by first team picks Rubye Ney and Suzanna Yoder. Ney and Yoder left their marks on the IMS softball record books with Yoder setting the career home run record, finishing second all-time in runs scored and fifth in stolen bases. Ney was fifth in scoring for a career and sixth in stolen bases. Those two were joined on all-conference teams by Mia Graber, a second team pick, and Leah Bontrager and Sarah Miller as honorable mention selections.
