washington-baseball-2-2

The Washington baseball team is set for their home opener tonight when they welcome Southeast Conference foe Fairfield for a doubleheader.

Due to the weather the Demons have been off for 11-days, as they swept Anamosa on opening night last Monday. Fairfield has received the true wrath of Mother Nature however, as each of their first six games have been postponed. The Trojans were 30-9 last season and bring back Tristin Waugh and his .387 batting average.

Game one gets underway at 5:30 p.m. this evening in Washington. Tune into FM 106.1 KCII starting at 5 p.m. to listen to the broadcast.
