The Washington boys basketball team will hit the road tonight, traveling just 20 minutes to the northwest to take on Keota.

The Demons come into tonight’s game sitting at 2-6 on the year after narrowly losing in overtime to Mount Pleasant at home last Friday night.  Trevor Quigley leads them offensively, averaging 10.5 points per game, while three others are right behind him at just under 10.

The Eagles, meanwhile, come in riding a three-game win streak and are currently 8-5 on the season.  They are led by one of the state’s most prolific scorers in JD Stout, who comes in as the second-leading scorer in the state on any level with 27.2 points per game.

Tonight’s game will be broadcast live on AM 1380 and FM 102.5 starting at 7:00 with the Washington HyVee Pregame Show.  Opening tip for that one is set for 7:30.
