The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys and girls are back on the floor today when they travel to Anamosa for a River Valley Conference doubleheader with the Blue Raiders.

The Golden Hawk girls come into the game with an overall record of 7-4 after a 52-46 loss at West Branch Friday night. Myah Lugar led the Golden Hawks with 13 points in the loss. For the season, Mid-Prairie is led by Shae Becker, scoring 14 points per game, sixth in the River Valley Conference. Becker also leads the Hawks on the glass with 70 rebounds, seventh in the RVC. Kessa Jones leads Mid-Prairie with 24 assists, ninth in the River Valley Conference.

Anamosa comes into the game with an overall record of 5-6, having lost three straight including a 61-55 setback Friday against Camanche in overtime. For the season, Anamosa is led by Taylor Zumbach scoring 13 points per game, fifth in the River Valley Conference North Division. Taylor Hinz leads the Raiders with 28 assists, fifth in the north while Maggie McQuillen is best on the team with 54 rebounds.

The Mid-Prairie boys come into the game with an overall record of 5-5 after a 63-60 loss to West Branch on Friday. For the season the Golden Hawks are led by Cale Robertson scoring 13 points per game, ninth best in the River Valley Conference. Brad Tornow leads the RVC with 49 assists. Tom Butters is second in the River Valley with 88 rebounds.

Anamosa comes in with an overall record of 5-5 after a 75-60 loss at Camanche on Friday. Sam Wilt leads the Blue Raiders this season scoring 12 per game. Wilt is also the team’s leading rebounder with 65 on the season. Matthew Walton’s 42 assists are best on the team and third in the RVC north.
