The Washington cross country teams competed in Mount Pleasant last night, with each team coming in fourth place in their respective fields.

Evan Horak was outstanding for the boys yet again, taking second place overall with a time of 17.47.  Lance Sobaski placed a season-high seventh in the race in 18.41; 16 seconds faster than Thursday night.

Claire Horak led the way on the girls’ team, placing eighth with a time of 22.55.  The rest of the team placed fairly close together, with Kelsey Pacha and Tori Hinson coming in 13th and 14th with Abbi Voss placing 17th.

It’s a home meet next for Washington, coming on Tuesday, Sept. 25.  The varsity meet is set to begin at 4:45 p.m.
