The Sigourney volleyball team took on South Iowa Cedar League opponent Belle Plaine at home last night, losing three sets to none by just a combined 15 points.

Each set got closer in score; set one finished 25-17, the second set came out at 25-20, and set three went into extra points and went in Belle Plaine’s favor, 27-25.

Sloane Magill was a difference-maker for the Savages in the loss, posting 10 kills and eight digs across the three sets.  Savannah White was also a factor with 18 assists on the night.

The Savages will take to the road tomorrow night when they head to North English to face off against English Valleys.  Game time is currently set for 5:30.
