The No. 10 Sigourney softball team posted a 23-0 win over Keota on Friday on the road.

Sigourney scored 11 runs in the first inning and followed that with five more in the second and seven in the third to end the game after just three frames. The Savages had offensive stars up and down the lineup, led by Madison Schauf with a homer and five RBI. Autum Barthelman also drove in five in the victory. Jordan VanEe got the win in the circle, going an inning and striking out the side in the frame. Paige Thompson and Flora Wilcox each had one hit in the game for Keota. Mikayla Beatty took the loss in the circle for the Eagles, surrendering 18 hits, 22 runs, walking 10 and striking out one. Sigourney improves to 3-0 with the win while Keota falls to 0-3.
