The Highland baseball team suffered their first loss of the season Friday, falling at West Burlington 4-2.

The Falcons jumped out early, scoring all four of their runs in their first at bat. Highland got back into the game with a pair of tallies in the third inning but could get no closer. Jordan Sosa and Brody Burton each had a hit and an RBI at the plate for Highland. Brady Hahn took the loss for the Huskies going two thirds of an inning, allowing four runs on two hits, walking two and striking out one. Highland is now 2-1 on the year. They will next be in action Tuesday when they travel to Mediapolis.
