Authorities located and arrested a man on a Washington County warrant for multiple offenses Sunday evening.

According to the Washington County Communications Office, 26-year-old Christopher Wayne Chmelar of rural Washington County was arrested. The offenses include possession of burglars tools, possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine first offense and marijuana first offense, two counts of drug paraphernalia and theft in the fifth degree. Bond was set at $3,500. The charges were related to an incident that happened at 1:11 a.m. April 9th at a business in the 100 block of West Second Street in downtown Washington. At that time Chmelar was arrested and additional charges were pending.
