It was a quick night in Winfield as the Wolves’ volleyball team downed Lone Tree in three sets.
Winfield-Mt. Union won by set scores of 25-13, 25-7, and 25-16. The Wolves had plenty of contributing players as seven recorded a kill led by Lexee Hartsock with eight. Thirteen was a magic number for Lauren Jamison as she collected 13 assists and connected on all 13 of her serves. Freshman Kyndal Townsley led the team defensively with 10 digs.
With the win the Wolves improve to 4-5 as the Lions drop to 1-13. WMU gets back on the court tomorrow in Wilton for a tournament and Lone Tree hosts Columbus Community on Tuesday.
