The Mid-Prairie Girls basketball team was looking to get their record past .500 last night as they played a home game against Durant. The Lady Hawks would be able to pull off the victory with a score of 47-42.

Mid-Prairie found themselves down at halftime though during this game with a score of 24-22. However the Lady Hawks only gave up two points in the third quarter making the score after three 35-26. During the fourth Mid-Prairie was able to withstand a comeback from Durant to get the victory.

The Lady Hawks got a solid game from senior Taylor Kurtz who had 10 points with 7 rebounds. Senior Ail Riggan found some success behind the three point line to score nine points for her team and junior Alex Rath had seven points.

The Lady Hawks won’t have much time to enjoy this win they have have a match up at Bellevue today at 1 p.m.
