The Mid-Prairie boys basketball team were looking for their first win coming into the 2015 portion of their schedule as they battle Durant. Mid-Prairie however would fall short in this game losing with a score of 59-43.
The Golden Hawks got a jump start coming off the gate with an 11-0 run to start the first quarter. By halftime Mid-Prairie maintained the lead with a score of 22-20 at halftime. The second fourth quarter was not friendly for the Golden Hawks as Durant would go on a 19-2 run.
Mid-Prairie will fall to 0-8 in the season and will look to quickly get over this game as they travel to Belleuve today to try to get their first victory of the season. Game will start right after the girls game at around 2:30 p.m.
