The Mid-Prairie boy’s basketball team is getting set up for the upcoming basketball season after going 10-11 last year. The Golden Hawks are coming into this year with a lot of inexperience after losing its top six scorers from last year. Head Coach Chris Kern says it will be challenge for his players this upcoming season, “It’s going to be a tough job this year, that’s the big thing coming in very inexperienced this year.

Mid-Prairie does have junior Nolan Faselt coming back who was named  River Valley Honorable Mention  last year.

The Golden Hawks have a big game coming up on December 2nd against Washington, but are not trying to look too far ahead, “Right now, that first game is pretty close, but seems a long way off and the work you need to do to get there.said Kern.”
