Several KCII area girls’ basketball teams are lacing up their shoes for the first time this season in Wellman tonight. The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks Girls’ Basketball Jamboree is set for this evening at Tim Grady Gymnasium.

The Washington Demon girls basketball team is one of the team’s participating in the jamboree. Washington opens up this evening’s basketball play against the Clear Creek Amana Clippers at 5:30 p.m..

Other girls’ basketball teams playing this evening at the jamboree include: the Highland Huskies, the Iowa Mennonite School, the Durrant Wildcats, the Iowa City Regina Regals, and the Ottumwa Bulldogs.
