The Lone Tree girls’ basketball team evened their record at 1-1 last night with a 55-26 win over first year program Cedar Valley Christian. Three players scored in double figures for the Lions led by sophomore Madelyn Flemr’s 14 points on 7-of-17 shooting. Flemr filled the stat sheet, adding five offensive rebounds, five assists, and six steals with two blocks. Cara Chamberlain and Ella Feldman each scored 10 while the team registered 26 steals. Lone Tree travels to Highland for a boys/girls doubleheader tonight. The Highland girls opened their season last week with a 46-43 win over Wapello.
