Mid-Prairie cross country team ran at Clear Creek Amana’s meet yesterday. The meet was held on the University of Iowa course. For the Golden Hawks on the girls side they took first as a team. They also had the top two individual finishers with Sofia Chmaruk taking first at 15:58 and teammate Mallorie McArtor second at 16:52. Taylor Foster took sixth. On the boys’ side, Mid-Prairie took second as a team to Vinton-Shellsburg. Individually, Justin Hochstetler was third at 17:18, Peter Schwartz fourth at 18:17, and Alex Truman 10th.
