The federal government has extended and expanded a home buyer tax credit program. Charla Howard at Golden Crest Realty says she’s seen an increase in home sales since the program was implemented earlier this year. The measure signed into law last week, extends to tax incentives not only to first time homebuyers, but to homeowners who have owned their property for at least five years.
