Governor Chet Culver has ordered Iowa flags lowered today (11/10) in honor of the victims of last weeks shootings at the Fort Hood Army Base in Texas. This is in addition to President Obama’s proclamation that all U.S. flags should be flown at half staff. 13 people were killed and 42 were wounded in last week’s shootings.
