The Leon Beatty American Legion Post 29 in Washington will have a flag raising ceremony at All Veterans Memorial at 8a.m. Monday, May 27th. A Memorial Day service will be held at 10a.m. in Central Park in downtown Washington. The featured speaker will be LTC Darwin “Pete” Peterson. In case of inclement weather the program will be held in the Washington High School gym.
