The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys soccer team made the long trip to Cascade Monday for a River Valley Conference contest. The home Cougars won the match by a 1-0 count. The Hawks were dangerous offensively on the night with 11 shots on goal and five corner kicks, but could not find the back of the net, while Cascade got their goal in the first half and made it stand up the rest of the night. Matthew Troyer, Ty Huber, Ashton Townsend and Peyton Fox each generated a pair of shots on goal. Mac Yoder made six saves to lead the Mid-Prairie defense. The loss drops the Golden Hawks to 3-8-2 this season while Cascade is 4-8-1.
