
The WACO Warrior soccer team showed off their offensive weapons in a win this week over the Highland Huskies 10-2 in Wayland. The Warriors sprinted to a 7-1 lead at half, and outscored the visitors 3-1 in the second stanza. WACO totaled 17 shots on goal and 10 corner kicks. Tristan Luitjens and Niles Reichenbach lit up the scoreboard for the Warriors with a hat-trick plus one of goals each. Luitjens added a hat trick in the assist column. Reichenbach had two helpers. Raefe Davison and Deric Tousignant each added a goal. Holden Hughes made eight saves on the back line to secure the win. The Warriors improve to 4-5 with the victory while the Huskies are win-less in 10 tries.
