It is National Small Business Week, and downtown Washington has four new small businesses that have recently opened.

The new businesses include: Pixie House and Gardens, Connelly’s Trading Cards, Iron and Ivy Consignment, and Adin’s Music Studio.

Pixie House and Gardens is located at 118 East Washington Street. This store is described as a place for those looking to add some greenery and scents to their homes. Pixie House and Gardens is open Wednesday through Saturday.

Connelly’s Trading Cards just opened on May 4th at 106 East Main Street. The shop has collectibles, from cards to figures and posters. Whether you’re into Pokemon, baseball, or Star Wars, this store would be a good place for collectors and hobbyists looking for that rare find. They are open Monday through Saturday.

Iron and Ivy Consignment is located at 124 West Main Street. This new consignment store is currently looking for those that may be interested in consigning with them. They are currently looking for antiques, glassware, home decor, and more. They are open Wednesday through Sunday.

Adin’s Music Studio located at 219 West Main Street is bringing the gift of music to the  downtown. This studio is offering music lessons. Whether a student is starting their musical journey and learning how to read music, an adult is learning a new guitar chord while developing their ear, a teenager is learning advanced classical piano, or a child is learning to make up their own song, this studio can help.
