
The Keota Eagle boys track and field team competed at the Bear Trax Classic Tuesday at BGM High School. The Eagles posted 50 team points to finish 11th of 14 schools. Lynnville-Sully was the winner with 216.
Keota had two championships on the night with Aiden Galindo gliding over the bar in the high jump, clearing 6’2” and flying by the field in long jump at 19’5” for wins.
Other top Eagle performances included Rowen Horning runner-up in the 400. Hunter Grandstaff was third in both the 800 and two-mile.
A pair of Keota relays were fourth including the 4×100 with Blake Baker, Brycen Horras, Dacin Redlinger and Horning and the sprint medley of Baker, Horras, Horning and Luke Moeller.
