Lone Tree split its golf dual against the Falcons of Louisa-Muscatine on Monday, playing at Blue Top Ridge Golf Course in Riverside.

The Lion boys earned a close win, 185-193. John Daufeldt put forth another solid outing, leading the way with a 42. Owen Eden was two strokes back at 44. Lone Tree leaders also included Carter Schott at 49, and Dallas Grimm at 50.

Lone Tree’s girls forfeited the team competition as the team only fielded two golfers. Adi Parizek shot a 71, and Rylie Viers shot a 77. The Falcons were led by McKinsie Reeves, shooting a 49.

Lone Tree will face Hillcrest Academy at Kalona Golf Course on Thursday. Louisa-Muscatine faces Columbus that same day at Cedar Crest Country Club in Columbus Junction.
