The Hillcrest Ravens picked up a couple of team wins in a golf dual against WACO at Twin Lakes Golf Course in Winfield on Monday.

Hillcrest’s boys earned a 170-191 win over the Warriors. Rowan Miller and Rylan Good led the Ravens, each with a score of 41. Other Raven leaders included Lawson Schrock at 43 and Ethan Yoder at 45. The Warriors were led by Malachi Rinner’s 43, with Ian Maize scoring a 46, Nick West scoring a 50, and Teage Pepper scoring a 52.

Hillcrest automatically picked up the win over WACO in the girls’ competition as the Warriors were not able to field a full team. The Ravens shot a 223 for the day.

The Ravens will head back to Kalona Golf Course to face Lone Tree in a dual on Thursday. WACO’s boys and girls will match up against Highland and Danville in a triangular at Blue Top Ridge in Riverside on Thursday.
