The Washington Community School District will be offering free counseling services to students in the coming year.

Students will have access to online therapy and counseling services through the districts’ partnership with Hazel Health.

Students can speak with a licensed therapist from the convenience of school or home, with parental consent, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Hazel Health provides high-quality care for all students no matter their insurance or immigration status. Services are free and confidential.

Areas therapists can help students include: improving communication and confidence, building healthy friendships and relationships, developing coping skills to manage emotions, and navigating academic stress and pressure.

Students cannot receive care without parental or guardian consent. If interested in this free service, contact your building counselor for more information.
