A Washington High School student has been selected to perform with the All-State Orchestra next month. Auditions were held on October 25th, and Zak Abozena will be joining the orchestra playing tuba. 

The 79th Annual All-State Music Festival will be held Saturday, November 22nd at Hilton Coliseum in Ames. Tickets can be purchased at the Iowa High School Music Association website under the festival information tab.
