The Columbus Wildcat volleyball team scored a regional rivalry win Monday over visiting Louisa-Muscatine in the opening round of the Class 2A playoffs. The Wildcats won the match 25-21, 25-18 and 25-20. Individual leaders included Daniela Diaz with 33 assists. Jocelyn Hernandez and Kennedy Woepking with 20 digs each. Jessica Del Rio and Hailey Wellington with nine kills each. Zai Par had five aces. Columbus is now 11-15 on the year as L-M ends their season at 14-13. The Wildcats advance to the Regional Quarterfinals Wednesday when they travel to 15-10 Bellevue.
