The Columbus Wildcat volleyball team defended their home floor on Senior Night with a Southeast Iowa Superconference win over Hillcrest Academy in four. The Wildcats were winners 25-23, 25-18, 24-26 and 25-14. Columbus leaders included Daniela Diaz with 35 assists and 16 digs. Kennedy Woepking had 20 kills and 16 digs. Zai Par had 18 digs. Jessica Del Rio 10 kills and eight aces. Jocelyn Hernandez had three aces.

For Hillcrest Claire Withrow had 26 assists and 15 digs. Niva Helmuth 19 kills. Claire Miller 17 digs. Brynna Boshart 15 digs and two aces. Ruth Witthoft seven kills. Columbus is now 10-14 overall and 7-1 in conference. Hillcrest Academy is 16-10 this year, 4-4 in the league.

The Wildcats honored six seniors on the night including Jocelyn Hernandez, Jessica Del Rio, Daniela Diaz, Addison Marin, Hailey Wellington and Kennedy Woepking.
