A funeral service for 89-year-old Steven T. Michel will be held on Wednesday, October 15 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Cosgrove. Burial will follow at the Angel’s Rest Cemetery northwest of Frytown. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A memorial fund has been established for Camp Courageous and Hospice Compassus. The Beatty Peterseim Funeral Home is assisting the family.
