A lane will be intermittently closed on Highway 22 between Kalona and Wellman for the next two weeks, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation.

This week work began on portions of Highway 22 stretching from Highway 1 in Kalona to 7th Avenue in Wellman. Flaggers and a pilot car are in use, delays in traffic are expected. Work is expected to be finished on October 21.

Workers will be present between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Drivers should take additional caution during those times.
