The YMCA of Washington is hosting a Bingo for Boxing fundraiser for the Rock Steady Boxing class.
The fundraising event will be at the Washington YMCA on Saturday, October 18th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. All funds raised will go to the Rock Steady Boxing class created for those with Parkinson’s. The YMCA of Washington County offers this class free to those diagnosed with Parkinson’s as well as their caregivers.
Ten games will be played, with three cards per person. Individual tickets are $30. Prizes will include baked goods, gift cards, and cash prizes for 8th, 9th, 10th game winners This event is open to all ages, and beverages and light brunch foods will be available.
An additional Bingo event will be held at the Wellman Y Banquet Hall on Saturday, November 15th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. According to the Parkinson’s Foundation, an estimated 1.1 million people in the U.S. are living with Parkinson’s disease You can find a link to tickets with this news story at KCIIRadio.com.
