There is a new Clover Kid Club getting ready to start at Lincoln Elementary in Washington.
The Clover Quest club will be open to fourth and fifth grade students to meet once a month. Different topics that the club will discuss and work on include catapults, pet health, cooking, team building and more. This club will meet the last Tuesday of the month with adult leadership from Cherry Sandeen and Diane Rinner. Meetings will take place at Lincoln Elementary, and the first meeting will be held September 30th from 3:30-5 p.m. This club is free, and registration is due by September 30th.
The overall purpose of the Iowa 4-H Clover Kids program is to foster the development of life skills that are essential for the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical maturation of kindergarten through third graders by providing a unique, age-appropriate educational opportunity.
